Many quality problems, including supplier issues, have root causes related to poor metrology or requirements definition (Operational Definitions). This presentation will cover the basic elements of precision assessment usng Gage R&R evaluation. A connection between Gage R&R metrics, process metrics, and misclassification probability shall be explored as well.
Jason McElroy has been a medical device quality engineer for over 18 years, and currently works for Medtronic. His primary duties involve pre-production design quality, including risk management, design development and optimization, design verification and process validation master planning, test method validation, and statistics for validation and routine sampling.
