Presentation Overview: This program will provide an overview of Agile-Scrum and will provide a platform for discussion on how to implement some of the processes, concepts, tools, and techniques in the quality arena. This concept started in the software development field, but has since expanded to become a new way of thinking, managing tasks, and doing business.
About the speaker: James Schwartz is currently the Command Master Black Belt at Naval Sea Systems Command Port Hueneme Division. Mr. Schwartz has been a Lean Six Sigma Practitioner since 2004. During that time he has served as a department lead black belt, Installation and Verification branch manager, organizational master black belt, and internal control program manager. Currently Mr. Schwartz' efforts are focused on training and certification of the organization's continuous improvement workforce and has recently completed the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) training through the Georgia Tech professional education program. Mr. Schwartz has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a MBA from California State University Channel Islands.
